Molar Miles' founder, Samuel, needed two crowns on his front teeth — the teeth he lost years ago. In Canada the bill was going to run into the thousands. So he did what this service now does for you: requested written quotes from Cancun-area clinics, compared them line by line, and booked the trip.

Questions, answered straight
Nothing. Clinics pay us a referral fee (typically 10–20% of the treatment price) for patients we coordinate. Your quote is the clinic's own price — the fee comes out of the clinic's marketing budget, not added on top of your bill. If a clinic ever quotes you less for booking direct, tell us and we'll match the difference in service or walk away from the deal.
It varies — which is the entire reason this service exists. The Cancun area has clinics with 3D imaging, in-house labs, and dentists who treat international patients daily, and it also has clinics you should avoid. We only work with clinics that pass the checklist above, quote in writing, and put a named dentist on your case. Materials (zirconia, E.max, implant systems) are the same international brands used in Canada.
Honest answer: cross-border recourse is limited, and any facilitator who promises otherwise is not being straight with you. What protects you in practice: choosing a clinic with a written warranty (our partners provide one), leaving with complete records and materials documentation so any dentist at home can continue your care, and our coordination — we stay in the conversation between you and the clinic. Many patients also keep a relationship with a home dentist for ongoing care.
Crowns and veneers typically fit in 4–7 days (an in-house lab can turn crowns around in about 24 hours). Implants are usually two trips a few months apart — placement first, crown after healing. All-on-4 timelines are set by the clinic after your 3D scan. Your quotes will state the exact schedule before you commit to anything.
Yes — clinics can give a provisional range from photos and your home dentist's treatment plan, and a firm quote after an in-person evaluation with X-rays and a 3D scan (US$80–180 depending on the clinic; one partner drops it to US$80 when you send recent X-rays ahead). The intake form has a "no X-rays yet" option and we'll tell you the cheapest way to get them.
When the treatment is small and the travel eats the saving — one simple filling, for example. Run the calculator above with your real numbers; if the net saving is thin, we'll say so. Dental travel pays off on crowns, implants, veneers, and full-arch work — the bigger the case, the bigger the gap.
